Pink Tartan
fall/winter 2005
Pink Tartan's lace-fringed
skirts take centre stage for fall, whether tamely striped for business
or cut in sinuous satin for after-hours relaxation. The felicitous pairing
within ensembles proves that the label is going for the total look.
A white double-breasted Chanel-style jacket with hiked sleeves has a
faint A-line waist that gives way to a pair of smooth, matching polyester
pants. For an aristocratic yet modern turn, a pair of unassuming plaid
pants is topped by a carmine riding jacket. The ruffle-fronted brown
satin blouse with roll-up sleeves is exactly the kind of understated
pop that makes Pink Tartan so irresistible.
