Bodybag by Jude fall/winter 2007
Running plaids for all they’re worth, Bodybag by Jude fuses the urban with the quaint for fall/winter 2007.
Romantic pieces like the flared plaid skirt and matching vest is a new turn for Bodybag, and this look is pulled together with an unruly white blouse that serves to offset the silhouette. This is repeated, with a mile-high hem, in black and plum. The rest of the collection offers a rather unfocused smattering of separates that leave no idea untouched.
Colour pairings like cerise and peacock blue serve to capture what this label has been about from the beginning—coded style with a focus on experimentation. The brand motifs might cheapen the look, but at least they are consistent.
A tie-down bolero is always going to garner attention, a maybe more so in a street wear collection such as this one.
