FASHION DESIGNERS COLLECTIONS FOR FALL/WINTER 2007

Bustle fall/winter 2007

With guns blazing, Bustle is on the warpath to make their mark on hunter chic for fall/winter 2007.

Men’s options include country club suits in mossy green, khaki and tan, and of course more than a fair share of plaid. Bustle does men’s wear best in neutral tones, when the brash colour combinations aren’t fighting with design elements for our attention. Smoking jackets, the tuxedo’s laid-back cousins, are clearly a priority for Bustle, with bold trim in no short supply. I was kind of surprised not to see horse-riding boots, but then, that would’ve been one too many cultural references to digest in one viewing.

With comparatively few pieces for women, it’s funny that they’re the stand-outs in the collection: cute, tomboyish get-ups that hinge on high-waisted pants, polka dot blouses, and suspenders.
