On
& On
spring/summer 2005
Gussied up in the colours of a Pacific coral reef, the
models wearing On & On spring 2005 had ample reason to smile.
This was not simply swimwear, or even beachwear that
was dazzling us-it was the worship of being tastefully casual. This
lifestyle philosophy came through in the red and white Che Guevara skirt
with irreverent polka dots worn with a Daisy Duke camisole, as well
as in evening wear in similar colours.
Zesty cross-your-heart
tops were paired with paisley and fuchsia skirts of varying lengths.
I never thought my mind would be blown by a shirtdress, but it finally
happened-popping turquoise, fuchsia and purple make this remarkably
simple On & On item a showstopper, as well as a must-have.
The men's wear is
few and far between, but there is at least one or two shirts to choose
from, as well as some one-of-a-kind jeans whose fit is as relaxed as
you need to be when being casual is your chosen way of life.
